Flashback to Ludum Dare 41: PlatBoarder

A number of Ludum Dares ago (41), I created a horribly rushed and buggy game called Platboarder. (ref: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/platboarder) This was when I was much newer to Godot and learning it's initial ins and outs, it wasn't an absolutely terrible game... okay, yeah, it was a terrible game...

It was one of the more challenging Ludum Dares, combine two incompatible genres of games, and I had chosen "platformer" and "board game". It was tough, because I want to find the two genres that would have been the hardest to combine. And, you can't really get much different from an intense action platform and a casual, chill board game, right? (I'm excluding Risk from casual and chill, as we know murders have happened over Risk).

However, I decided to look at that game and see what I can do with it, took a week, and it turned into this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RWJaOVdnWpA

Sometimes, that terrible game, with a little love, can become something just a little more interesting!
