Hi! At least we finished the game for our first (and not last!) Ludum Dare project, here you go!

Who are you?

We are a team of two, we worked at WhootGames (released Random Fighters on android and Castles on Steam/Ps4/XBoxOne), now we are freelancing and trying to create our own studio, Evil Worm Games. This is our first ludum dare, so please be nice!

Oh, we also have an Early Access game on Android called Furry Pirates, go check it out!

What’s this game about?

Well, the theme for this Ludum Dare is “One Room”. So we were thinking…what is there in a room? Furniture! And what kind of game can we create about a room and furniture… Then BOOM! Mind explode! A game about becoming the boss of the stance, the master of the furniture, the king of termites! So…

This game is a fast paced “kind-of-RTS” about becoming the last survival termite clan of the room. You fight with other AI termite clans, consume your wooden nests to create more troops and invade every piece of furniture on the room.

 

Are there bugs in this game?

Of course there are, it’s a game about termites! Nah, seriously, yes, you may encounter a couple bugs. We apologize for it, but hey, if you like the game we may finish it (bug free!) and publish it on itch.io or another site!

So… How do I play this game?

Simple! First, go to the ludum dare’s project page and download it! (http://ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-37/?action=preview&uid=125394). Left click to select furniture, you can drop units or garrison on another nest. Click & drag to select units, and right click to tell them to go somewhere. If it’s a piece of furniture you own, they will garrison. If it belongs to your enemies, they’ll attack it. You have a little tutorial ingame too.
