Most of the usual benefits of and reasons to use version control don't apply during a jam, but what I found **incredibly** useful was that by making commits as time went by (even at kinda arbitrary points), I got **small diffs** of the last few hours progress. It helped with small things like removing dead comments and excessive debug logging, which kept things more comfortable when the heat went up!\n\nDid you use version control?
