We are in!

Oh, yeah! Ludum Dare is coming!

This time we (@syudzius and I) are here to have as much fun as we can. That's why I won't take any part in theme voting: this process have never been any satisfying. :(

We want to take everything we can from our local LD gathering - Siberian Game Jam. This puts an extra constraint: we have to make a playable game in something like 36 hours. It defenitely is outside of my comfort zone, since I tend to wire everything together in the last 3 hours.

That's why we won't waste this month: it's time to warm up, refresh algorithms in my head, finally compose a tune and wire it together in a little game. Didn't do it before, but the idea seems good to me. :)

As for tools, I'm planning to write some JavaScript in vim. The engine I want to use this time is Kontra. It's a bare-bone engine, so we might need some additional coding beforehand. I don't know what will @syudzius use for visual art, but there's nothing better for music then good old SunVox (at least, I suppose so).

And as always, if you'll suddenly find yourself in Novosibirsk during the jam, you're wellcome to join Siberian Game Jam. We have much fun, tea and constraints. :)

Good luck, everyone! And may the theme not suck! :video_game:
