For me, the theme slaughter round is now just an irritating chore. It used to be fun but now with all the repetitive, trolling, jokes, and random senseless themes, I'd rather just skip it.

Now, what if...

... only the ones who got in the top 100 or 200 or whatever in the previous jam can submit themes? so it's like that will be their reward? everyone can still slaughter and vote on the submitted themes. I mean, if you got a high rating, you probably take LD seriously and don't treat it as a joke. So you'll be more likely to submit a serious and workable theme.

Anyways, this is just a random thought that popped up in my mind. Now, back to slaughtering...
