Hello everyone! Welcome to Ludum Dare, most of you will be participating for the first time this Ludum Dare so here is some tips and tricks!

1) Don't Overshoot!

Most newcomers think you have to make a triple A 2 hour story title with cyperpunk graphics but no! The most important thing is keeping it simple. Here is my range:

The simplicity does not matter.

2) Time is Key!

If you spend 12 hours finding a theme and another 12 making a prototype, its not going to be easy to finish the game. The first three ideas you come up with are probably the best ones. Pick one! Make your protype and DO NOT TRY TO LEARN A NEW GAME ENGINE WHILE PARTICIPATING!

3) Get sleep. just get sleep

Although 13 Monster cans can help with sleeping, the best thing that reduces sleepiness is sleeping. If you really don't want to sleep then atleast sleep for 4-6 hours. It is important. Even more important for people who go to school like me.

Most importantly have fun. You probably are not going to win but.... winning is not the point! Have Fun! Make great games!
