Where do I even start with this? \u00a0How do I write a postmortem for a gag game? \u00a0Whelp, here we go.<\/p>\n

I wanna start off by explaining the decision to make this monstrosity. \u00a0The theme this Ludum Dare was\u00a0\u201cYou are the Monster,\u201d which, while sharing a striking resemblance to LD25\u2032s\u00a0\u201cYou are the Villain,\u201d is just <\/i>thematically different enough that it squeezed its way into the running and ended up winning.<\/p>\n

I dislike the theme for a number of reasons. \u00a0For one, let\u2019s just resubmit my LD25 game and call it a day, right? \u00a0And secondly, the theme could really only be interpreted in one of two ways: \u00a01)<\/b> You are a mythological non-human creature that may or may not actually do bad things. or\u00a02)<\/b> You are a human who does bad things, a metaphorical monster.<\/p>\n
