I've been wanting to participate in something like this for a while now. A friend of mine did the Ludum Dare challenge a couple of years ago and it looked like a lot of fun!

Software tools:

• Code::Blocks IDE for programming C/C++
• SIGIL for cross-platform 2D graphics, input, and audio programming
• sfxr for sound generation
• Goldwave for sound mastering (time permitting)
• LMMS for music (time permitting)
• GIMP and possibly Blender for 2D art

Equipment: - H2N Zoom Recorder for better sound effects or voices (time permitting) - Huion H610Pro Tablet for art (although I'm not good at it!) - My brain (time permitting)
