I completely forgot about LD45 xD, it started yesterday october 4th, and for some REALLY mysterious reason, I decided to take a look at the LD site to check when the next jam would be, cause I remembered it was on october, just didn’t remember the day. As I opened the website, I notice it had already started, and I was about 10 hours late :laughing: . Well, no time to lose, I grabbed my notebook and started brainstorming some ideas. The one that I really liked, was the third one I came up with. A game where the player takes part on the evolution of a species, and tells a bit of the story of earth as we know it. Basically, a super downgraded Spore :laughing: . The idea was to have the player controlling a really small cell at first, and this cell would need food right? So he has to eat other smaller cells, and avoid the bigger ones that could eat him, as he eats the small ones, he groes and keeps evolving until he turns into a small fish that, eats and eats until he tries to get out of the water and explore the surface. I really like Spore, it’s one of the best games I’ve played and now, it also helped me with the Jam xD. I don’t know if I’ll be able to finish all that I have planned until the end of the Jam, but I’ll definitely upload at least the cell stage, if I manage, I’ll also upload any other stage I complete, but regardless, I’ll keep developing this until I’m 100% happy with it, cause I’m really liking this project.
