There's a story, and the game is loosely based on music & rhythm.

You are the first sentient pixel.

Sentience is a roguelike story-based top-down shooter, where you are a pixel, created from nothing, bestowed with free will by your creator, the computer. Upgrade your drivers, become bigger, faster, stronger, more resilient in the face of danger, as you blast through hordes of enemy pixels.

Music is a big part of the game, everything happening on rhythm.
