I'm planning on participating in the 48hr Compo and I want to make sure I don't start my project with anything that would be considered to be an unfair advantage. I've read the rules many times, just not sure how to interpret them. Is there a concrete definition of what "base code" is? Thanks for any input!

EDIT: From the rules page, for reference: "You’re free to use any tools or libraries to create your game. You’re free to start with any base-code you may have. At the end, you will be required to share your source code."
