I initially wanted to participate in this LD because I thought I had enough time, experience, and decent tools to at least make a semi-decent prototype. I am decent at programming and know the basics of game logic. I also chose Unity because I figured that it has the capabilities and flexibility of making a simple game. However as I soon come to realize, there was so much about Unity I don’t know, and I find myself having to look at the documentation at various times. Basically, I was more stressed and confused than having fun during this LD. So I think I should back away for now.

This is not to say that I will quit LD. I just simply made a mistake of using something I don’t know deeply about. Provided that I will have the time for it, I’ll will most likely participate in the next LD, as well as future LD’s if I can!

August 23rd, 2015 8:40 pm
Well…I’m throwing the towel"}
