This was my first proper project in Monogame. I was nervous that I was biting off more than I could chew but we somehow managed to scope the game pretty much perfectly. 😅 In the past I have fallen into the trap of trying to go big and the final product losing out a bit. This was the first Ludum Dare that I finished with time to spare!

Something else that went well was the art. Me and Ollie both seemed to be on the same page with the character art from the get go and he did an amazing job. Lots of people are saying the eggplant faces will haunt their dreams. 😂🍆

This time round my fiancé got involved and did all the environment art and the UI. They turned out perfect and it was super fun to have her sat next to me working on the game together. 😁❤ I think we'll be working on something together again soon!
