I really enjoyed the creative control of working solo, and not having to worry about integrating\/coordinating with anyone else.\n\nThat said, the one thing I missed was having someone to pull me out of the rabbit hole when I got too stuck into a problem. I wanted to use the jam as an opportunity to learn more about mechanics in Unity I hadn't used yet. This meant I spent about 10 hours figuring out different ways to make the sprites move. 10 hours I probably could have spent adding some more features to the finished product, oh well, there's always next time.\n\nI eventually landed on always moving up, but rotating the sprite to set the direction:\n![ezgif.com-video-to-gif.gif](\/\/\/raw\/a0f\/71\/z\/31f73.gif)\n\nI genuinely did a little happy dance when I got this working. To get it working in the game took another hour or so of figuring out different rotate methods.
