I don't really know what I am doing and when it comes to game development tools as I don't know any heh. I've always wanted to get into game development and I figured ludum dare is a good place to start. I decided to take the approach of just write raw code and hope a game forms. It's really been made obvious to me that this is not the most efficient way to make a game. Especially when I have to write something that is often given by libraries like a collision system, text boxes, screen resizing, etc. I did have a lot of fun though! It's so satisfying to say that I was able to write something, anything from scratch!\n\nThe game I wrote is using the p5 library which provides api for playing audio, displaying images, drawing shapes, and mouse events.
