Sea Battle - Classic turn by turn revisited
For this first game jam I attended, I was inspired by a classic turn by turn Sea Battle game I played the previous day with my daughter who motivated me to take part in the game jam.

You can play it here:

Share your party game url with friends to play with them.
I augmented it from the original classic version by allowing the players to decide if they want to move or attack during their turn.

- The first day/night was dedicated to (very) simple graphics design, audio engine development and SVG/React/Redux components implementation
- The second day/night was dedicated to controls, network, random generation and deployment
- The third night was dedicated to generation and adjustments
Some codebase details:*
- Graphics are done using SVG + React
- Audio is using WebAudio API
- Collisions are handle using some math
- Audio shuffling and Fleets + Maps Generations are done used using random :)
Additional notes:
To amplify the ambiance I wanted to integrate relevant battle movies soundtrack in background and for that I used selected 30s previews available on streaming services.
