Ludum Dare 46 Retrospective: The Next Generation
Here is the retrospective (postmortem is so morbid) of my entry to Ludum Dare 46: The Next Generation.
That post contains my brainstorming process, barking up the wrong tree for 24 hours, almost dropping out, and turning a not-fun Game of Life sandbox into a kinda-fun puzzle game. It also contains a timelapse of what developing the game looked like from start to finish, and a list of everything I googled over the 48 hours it took to make the game.
I've appreciated all of the comments so far, and if anybody is looking for another game to play (works on web, mobile, and desktop), check it out here.!
