That's why we tried different approach to top down shooter - we restricted movement and aim to only four directions, but you can move very fast through the level!

We also made the shooting itself a mechanic on it's own - it is not sufficient to just press the button, that's not how bows work!

DRAW THE BOW JUST RIGHT

To shoot effectively, you need to draw it right. Draw too little and the arrow would travel only short distance and do less damage. Hold the bow drawn for too long though and the archer loses his strength and concentration resulting in very poor aim, though the shot itself will be fast and powerful. Try to hit the sweetspot with both maximum force and maximum accuracy!
