I actually planned ahead and somewhat stuck to a schedule.\n\nWhen I saw the Construct 3 offer I decided to try and make a game using the engine, an engine I had never used before. I'm happy with the end result, but with more familiarity with the engine, I could have done something better.\n\nI took a lot of advice from [this video](https:\/\/youtu.be\/Em57fw15w68), so thanks to @adamcyounis for the great tips.\n\nLessons learned:\n\n* If you are more comfortable with coding, code. Drag and drop and \"No code\" engines are very useful, but if you are not accustomed to them, they can be annoying.\n\n* Asset making can be fun, but don't focus too much on details that will hardly be noticed.\n\n* Implement thigs progressively, don't obsess over small details before finishing the core gameplay.\n\nAnyway, It was a really fun experience.
