I spent most of the first day building a completely different game about shapes and zooming, but it didn't feel good enough to continue.\n\nEventually, time running out, I settled on an ocean game. Something I would have fun building, which turned out to be the most important criteria.\n\nThe goal was to allow the player to dive deeper and deeper into a mysterious, hostile sea in search of treasure. The deeper your diver got, the more you would find valuable loot, but the depths would also host increasingly strange creatures.
