Everyone has a different keyboard layout, preferences and machines so giving your players the option to adjust settings is very helpful. Sadly during a game jam it's rather difficult to do that. I disagree. When making my [latest game](https:\/\/ldjam.com\/events\/ludum-dare\/48\/power-station-beta) during the jam I only added one command: noclip. It was only coded because I had nothing else to do while waiting for others to upload their work. This command later would be used extensively throughout development: adjusting fall damage, testing levels, testing AI, taking screenshots and the list goes on.
