I missed it last time, I remembered when it had finished =\/ \n\nBut this time I'm prepared since the beginning, and for the first time I finished the Theme Slaughter round!\n\n### What I\u2019ll be using:\n\n- __Engine__: RPG Maker (maybe, for the first time I'll use it to actually make an RPG, I normally use it just for its top-down movement).\n- __Code editor__: Atom.\n- __Art & Animation__: Pixelorama\n- __Maybe art too__: Pencil\/scaner\/Krita (if I have time)\n- __Music__: Abundant Music\n- __Sound FX__: sfxr\n\nExactly the same as the last time, but with rustier skills, lol. \n\nAs always, I\u2019m aiming for the Compo.\n\n- My favorite theme: __Summoning__\n- My least favorite: __Unstable__\n- But all are terrible :smiley: (I didn't know I could use smileys here)\n\nBut regardless of the theme...\n### My game will have\n\n- __Robots__. Because I like them.\n- __Pixel art__. Because that's what I can do with the time.\n- __An ending screen__. That will be your reward for finishing it.\n- I'm planning to use the theme to create the story, instead of the game mechanics. \n\n### Tips for newcomers \n\nA few things I have learned from before, that might be of some help, specially if you are new at this type of jams.\n\n- First make your scope really small, try the minimum that could make a game fun to play.\n- Test it with minimum graphics, if you run out of time, those graphics would be enough, really.\n- After you made sure its fun, if you still have time, then try to polish it with nice simple graphics, sound effects and music.\n- After you have a short little game that is fun and looks good, if you still have time, then make it longer.\n- If you are doing the compo and for some reason run out of time, join the Jam.
