Unstable gamedev update - Real-life gets in the way sometimes!

It's the final hours of the compo and less than 28 hours left in the jam.

So far I have be able to put about 2 hours of effort into the gamejam. Clearly this is not much time to make something playable, and unfortunately it is unlikely I will have any time tomorrow to work on this again.

In any case, the game idea is a 3d builder game with physics simulations where the player can create a mold and then pour liquid into their mold to create a cast. Then the idea is that they break the cast out of the mold and use it to solve a puzzle.

It's challenging enough to mean that I would need a couple of days at it to get a prototype/jam-game to work okay. I guess I could have made a physics-based block stacking game or something for the theme instead, but sure look, I would be motivated to pursue making this more challenging game concept well after the jam is over.

Best of luck folks! Maybe I'll have a better shot at things next jam (and feel better too!)
