Also I wanted to give a bit of background.\n\n## The story of [Escape from Nowhere](https:\/\/ldjam.com\/events\/ludum-dare\/50\/escape-from-nowhere)\nThis was the first time I took part in Ludum Dare since 2015 and my third time in total (the first time was in 2012). Given how positive the experience was I hope to return next time.\n\nHaving not touched game development since I started university in 2017 I wasn't very well prepared to make a game in a short period of time and it wasn't made easier by the fact that I spent the first day on a miserable idea. I also started this Ludum Dare with the intention of using PhaserJS (which I had used a few times before) only to change to Godot when I saw all the posts of people trying it out for the first time.\n\nWith the first day wasted I gave up all hopes of finishing a game this Ludum Dare and instead decided to take some time practicing sprite drawing, which I also had no experience with.
