Watching basketball games is fun, while actually playing is even more fun! I miss shooting some hoops with friends since going out has not exactly been safe lately. Plus, with the NBA playoffs around, I missed the game a little extra (ba dum tss)

I also remembered the basketball games in arcades, which were rather popular (there could be a whole section of a store dedicated to these stations). Then, the eureka moment came: "If I can't play ball physically, I can at least try playing it virtually". With the Ludum Dare weekend around, I realized the best way to play the game for the weekend was to make the game: Stick Basketball Arcade :basketball:

This month has also been rather busy for me IRL, which made it tricky to finish a Jam/Compo game on time. However, I did not want to miss the 20th anniversary of Ludum Dare either. Indeed, thank goodness for Extra for the much needed leeway!

On a side note, it was also a good time for me to learn some new tools, from a different game engine to a music creator (I learned about the music creation tool thanks to a kind peep from this community!) Additionally, the games here have also been a lot of fun to play :video_game:
