Decided to participate no matter what this weekend. So – in order to learn a bit and have some fun – I looked into some new tools and engines, and found PlayCanvas<\/a> to be pretty cool. Basically a Unity-like hierarchy in Javascript, powered by WebGL and HTML5 <canvas>.<\/p>\n

\"thing\"<\/a>So I decided to make this thing yesterday to test it out. It’s pretty cool how much you can do in 30 minutes. (Try it out here.<\/a>)<\/p>\n

Looking forward to it this weekend. I’m not much of a 3D modeler, but I know the basics of Cinema 4D so this will be fun. I’ll be streaming<\/a> and Tweeting<\/a> my progress as I go.<\/p>\n
