With other genres I don't go so heavy on content until the end but with adventure games I find getting the rooms and characters sorted fairly important as they define the tone of everything else. So right now I have my character shifting between two dimensions every 10 seconds.\n\n![Day1aa.gif](\/\/\/raw\/653\/e2\/z\/4f271.gif)\n\nMy schedule for the jam looks like this:\n\n**DAY 1**\n- ~~Rooms and Characters~~\n- Adventure Scripting Engine\n\n**DAY 2**\n- Puzzles\n- Dialog\n\n**DAY 3**\n- Audio\n- Polish\n\nSo for the rest of the day I'm implementing a really light weight scripting system to cover my basic adventure game needs: dialog, choices, variables, inventory items.
