Was a last minute decision, but I'm glad I did it

Thought this would be the jam to actually kill me, ngl.
So this wasn't my first Ludum Dare, but the date completely fell out of my head. So when my game dev group mentioned it on Friday I had to make a snap decision on whether I'd join. But man am I glad I did.

I decided to * "take it easy" * on myself and make a cozy game. I'm still on the mend from finally getting caught by covid and since I always do jams by myself I didn't want to go too far in scope so I did my best to make something I knew I could finish.
I think I did a good job in that, but my body will not forgive me for the grind for a while  This was probably my most complex game jam entry to date (I even did my own foley) and my first finished product in Unity so I had to learn a lot on the fly.
So if you wanna play something kinda cozy, come check out my game * Pet the Damn Cat! * for Windows and HTML5.
I'm looking forward to taking a lil break from game dev and just focusing on playing y'alls games now.
