Right when the theme is announced, my team and I always enter a flurry of throwing out every ridiculous concept we can think of that's even semi-related to the theme. It's that part of the jam where anything goes, before the real down-to-business work starts, and it's one of my favorite parts. Here are a few of my favorites from the bunch this time:

• toothbrush speedrun
• slowest rhythym game ever
• jacks in slow motion
• cron jobs (you are cron)
• check your phone simulator
• food falls on the ground and you have 10s to pick it up and eat it
• short term memory loss (dory from finding nemo)

In the end, we made something even crazier —
a net-enabled game where you make 10-second songs with other players!
