I <em>do<\/em> want people to be able to play my game. \u00a0It&#8217;s \u00a0more fun that way.<\/p>\n <p>I toyed around with <a href=\"http:\/\/elm-lang.org\" target=\"_blank\">Elm<\/a>\u00a0last year sometime and found it interesting, but didn&#8217;t have any real use for it. \u00a0But it&#8217;s perfect for LD &#8212; just compiles right to Javascript. \u00a0No downloadin&#8217; nothin&#8217;.\u00a0\u00a0 I managed to whip up <a href=\"http:\/\/koeida.github.io\/elmspace.html\" target=\"_blank\">a little 2D fly-around-in-space demo<\/a> today, and I&#8217;m pretty pleased with it, haha. \u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/koeida\/koeida.github.io\/blob\/master\/space.elm\" target=\"_blank\">It clocks in at 117 lines of code<\/a>, but a lot of those lines are pretty&#8230;light.<\/p>\n <p>Functional reactive programming is so sexy. \u00a0And I like using underdog programming languages. \u00a0And it&#8217;s close enough to Haskell for my purposes.<\/p>\n <p>wooooo<\/p>","time":"August 16th, 2015 9:25 pm","title":"Well, on second thought, how about Elm?"}
