my jam game is turning into a month long project
After the jam
The jam went unexpectedly well for me. I think people are generous to rate my game higher than it deserves (Thank you very much!). It's like, part of me is feeling proud but the rational part of me is feeling the opposite... it's a weird experience...

So I planned to make up for it by developing more features and contents for the game, so that it can offer a 10 minutes gameplay, much like many other jam games did. And I was thinking it might take me a week. Unsurprisingly, one month down the road, I'm still working on it.
New features (up coming...)
Progressions - Many people suggested that the difficulty should ramp up over time. I guess it'd be a good solution for reducing repetitiveness.
Endless Level - So that the game can have infinite play time, as long as the player is not bored.
Leaderboard - Or at least a high score. They come hand in hand with the hyper casual genre.
Fever Time - Reduces repetitiveness and add a highlight for the game.

When they are implemented, I guess I would happily call it done. Then maybe I will move on to another project, or maybe I will come back after a while to implement more features and contents. That's a decision the future me to make.
