Yoo Ah In's film The Match becomes embroiled in yet another rumour in the midst of a string of controversies. While the release of the Netflix film is uncertain due to the film's lead actor Yoo Ah In'a's drug-related controversy, there is word that Netflix has sent an official document to the film's investor regarding the contract termination. Netflix, on the other hand, stated that it could not confirm the report.

An official from Yoo Ah In's agency also stated that they had not received any information regarding the decision. As a result, fans of the film will have to wait a little longer to find out if and when The Match will be available on the OTT platform.

The Match tells the story of two legendary Go (Baduk) players, Cho Hun Hyun and Lee Chang Ho.

The veteran actor Lee Byung Hun plays Cho Hun Hyun, and Yoo Ah In plays Lee Chang Ho. Moon Jung Hee, Ko Chang Seok, Hyun Bong Sik, and Kim Kang Hoon also appear in supporting roles.

The screenwriter is Yoon Jong Bin of The Spy Gone North, and the director is Kim Hyung Joo.

It was originally scheduled to be released on Netflix this year, but the release date has been pushed back due to Hellbound actor Yoo Ah In'a's drug-related controversy, who is currently charged with using four types of drugs: propofol, ketamine, hemp, and cocaine.
