Life.<br \/>\n <strong>Initial goals:<\/strong><\/p>\n <p>We sought to have a game with a story that develops based off of the user&#8217;s decisions\/actions and to have at least 3 scenes.<br \/>\n <strong>Goals Met:<\/strong><\/p>\n <p>We managed to create a game that has 3 branches in story path.<\/p>\n <p>Three scenes were created(bedroom, living room, kitchen)<br \/>\n <strong>Tools used:<\/strong><\/p>\n <ul>\n <li>\u00a02D Art: Piskel, Photoshop Touch<\/li>\n <li>Engine: Unity &#8211; C#<\/li>\n <li>Sound\/Music: Logic Pro<\/li>\n <li>Misc: TexturePacker<\/li>\n <\/ul>\n <p><strong>Where did you spend unexpected amounts of time?<\/strong><\/p>\n <p>Character animations\/graphics and Singleton objects. (objects that remained constant through scene loads)<br \/>\n <strong>What broke at the last minute?<\/strong><\/p>\n <ul>\n <li>Build issues were abundant. We had to resize every scene to fit the 960&#215;800 required for LD.<\/li>\n <li>The sprite filter was not working in the build. [fixed by removing bip mapping]<\/li>\n <li>Cloned characters.<\/li>\n <li>Dialogue\/info textboxes weren&#8217;t displaying.<\/li>\n <\/ul>\n <p><strong>Improvements for final:<\/strong><\/p>\n <ul>\n <li>Better looking and functioning GUIs<\/li>\n <li>Integration\u00a0of the rest of the story\/dialogue<\/li>\n <li>Functioning Depression Meter<\/li>\n <li>Credits screen<\/li>\n <li>Delineation of textbox ownership<\/li>\n <\/ul>","time":"April 24th, 2015 9:10 pm","title":"Post-Mortem \u2013 How I Lost Your Mother"}
