Hey all,

I'm thinking of potentially recording or live streaming myself creating a game for this upcoming Ludum Dare event.

But I'm not sure what would be the best way to accomplish this interms of what software/hardware to use and what other advice would be recommended as I've never done such a long recording before.

My goal is to screen capture my main monitor and all sound that is coming from the computer as well as my microphone audio.

OBS seems like the best choice since it allows for recording multiple audio sources while screen recording but my computer isn't strong enough to record from OBS and test play my game at the same time without a lot of performance lag. So I'm almost considering using a separate computer with an external Elgato capture card to record my game being developed from my main computer.

If you guys have other streaming setups you recommend or would like to share, or have any other advice/tips I would appreciate it, and thanks!
