{"author_name":"TheScopelessOne","cat":"LD #32","comments":[],"epoch":1429728480,"likes":3,"metadata":{"p_key":"17814","p_author":"TheScopelessOne","p_authorkey":"50730","p_urlkey":"53120","p_title":"PSA About Unity controls","p_cat":"LD #32","p_event":"LD32","p_time":"1429728480","p_likes":"3","p_comments":"0","p_status":"UPD5","us_key":"50730","us_name":"TheScopelessOne","us_username":"thescopelessone","event_start":"1429228800","event_key":"27","event_name":"LD32"},"text":"<p>I have noticed a lot of peole complaining about lack of suport for varius kind of keyboard configurations, so I thought I should make a post about this.<\/p>\n <p>Alot of Unity games use Unitys built in Input system like this: <strong>&#8220;yAxis = Input.GetAxisRaw(&#8220;Player1AltYaxis&#8221;)&#8221;<\/strong>\u00a0 (from my LD game)<\/p>\n <p>This means that when you start the game after it&#8217;s built there is a tab called &#8220;Input&#8221; (it&#8217;s allways there).<\/p>\n <p><a href=\"http:\/\/ludumdare.com\/compo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/INPUT.png\"><img class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-460944\" src=\"http:\/\/ludumdare.com\/compo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/INPUT.png\" alt=\"INPUT\" width=\"501\" height=\"481\" srcset=\"http:\/\/ludumdare.com\/compo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/INPUT-300x288.png 300w, http:\/\/ludumdare.com\/compo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/INPUT.png 501w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 501px) 100vw, 501px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n <p>You click on it and then you find the movment keys\/Shoot keys or whatever you want to change.<\/p>\n <p><a href=\"http:\/\/ludumdare.com\/compo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Pre.png\"><img class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-460952\" src=\"http:\/\/ludumdare.com\/compo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Pre.png\" alt=\"Pre\" width=\"500\" height=\"480\" srcset=\"http:\/\/ludumdare.com\/compo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Pre-300x288.png 300w, http:\/\/ludumdare.com\/compo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Pre.png 500w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n <p>Dubble click on it and it will ask you to chose what key you want for that command.<\/p>\n <p><a href=\"http:\/\/ludumdare.com\/compo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/While.png\"><img class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-460956\" src=\"http:\/\/ludumdare.com\/compo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/While.png\" alt=\"While\" width=\"267\" height=\"129\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n <p>And then you are done, chose whatever key you like.<\/p>\n <p><a href=\"http:\/\/ludumdare.com\/compo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Post.png\"><img class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-460959\" src=\"http:\/\/ludumdare.com\/compo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Post.png\" alt=\"Post\" width=\"500\" height=\"480\" srcset=\"http:\/\/ludumdare.com\/compo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Post-300x288.png 300w, http:\/\/ludumdare.com\/compo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Post.png 500w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n <p>I hope this post will help you.
