Between then and now I've missed jams due to exhaustion, started a jam but bit off more than I could chew code-wise, and started another jam where we bit of more than we could chew art-asset-wise. Very frustrating!\n\nMy goal this time is to keep it extremely simple. I feel most comfortable making games in TypeScript and HTML5, but I often have the instinct to use a jam to learn some new skill. So I won't be using this jam to\n- learn Godot\n- learn Unity\n- develop a game with C and SDL\n- develop a game in Rust, using Bevy\n- livestream myself making the game\n- record and edit video of myself making the game\n\nAll of these things have tempted me in the leadup to this jam, but I know that if I get distracted, the jam is only 48 hours long, and I can't afford to get distracted and still have time to finish.
