{"author_name":"ninjaBear","cat":"LD #32","comments":[],"epoch":1429375200,"likes":0,"metadata":{"p_key":"19578","p_author":"ninjaBear","p_authorkey":"0","p_urlkey":"54907","p_title":"Liquid Cryogenics","p_cat":"LD #32","p_event":"LD32","p_time":"1429375200","p_likes":"0","p_comments":"0","p_status":"UPD5","us_key":null,"us_name":null,"us_username":null,"event_start":"1429228800","event_key":"27","event_name":"LD32"},"text":"<p>I wanted the gameplay to be unconventional as a result of the weapon, so I eventually settled on this idea:<\/p>\n <p>Firing globs of liquid that freezes enemies on contact.\u00a0 The enemies unfreeze after a few seconds, so the only way to kill them is to have frozen enemies collide with each other.\u00a0 I haven&#8217;t decided if I want the player to remain stationary or not.<\/p>\n <p>So far, I have enemies spawning, approaching, and freezing, but not colliding yet.<\/p>\n <p>No screenshots for now because my programmer art is a bunch of rectangles. Hopefully, I will finish the core mechanics early enough to spend time on the art.<\/p>","time":"April 18th, 2015 11:40 am","title":"Liquid Cryogenics"}
