My silly game's backstory

First of all - I'm rating games all day today, so please drop a link if you'd like me to play yours!

Labubus can be divisive. I didn't want to like them, seems like a dumb trend, but I saw one in person and (unfortunately) fell in love instantly. They look just like my dog (Frenchie mix). Against my better judgement, I got one while I was on a trip. I'm fairly sure it's fake, but I thought it was too cute to pass up.

My dog agreed with me. He was obsessed with it from the moment he first saw it hanging on my purse. I was very careful about keeping my purse out of his reach because I knew he craved violence. But then, I slipped up. On the first day of Lududm Dare, I got home to find that he had an accident by the front door. In a rush to clean it up, I set my purse on the floor. In the 2 and half minutes that I was distracted by cleaning up after my dog, that same dog betrayed me. He got a hold of the Labubu and completely destroyed it - drawn and quartered.

The first thing I found was a foot, followed by a hand attached to a wire. I found the second foot and the body, but the second hand was MIA. Knowing my dog, he had almost certainly eaten the hand. It wasn't a very big piece of plastic, but I called the vet for advice. They recommended that I feed him a couple pieces of white bread, which could encase the hand to help it pass easier.

So not only did my dog make a mess and eat my Labubu, but somehow he gets a treat out of it. And to add insult to injury, he is allergic to wheat and that manifests in noxious, stinky farts. To make matters worse - we were also about to get in the car for a 3-hour car ride together.

So as I was driving down in a cloud of toxic gas, fueled by bread and demonic doll hands, I decided that the best way to process my grief would be to make a game about Labubus. My husband requested a rhythm game (which is not my forte) and I found the song LABUBU REGGEATON, which sealed the deal. The result was the cursed game "Lafufu Collector" (Lafufu = fake Labubu - a nod to my deceased companion). If you play the game and see a Labubu with only 1 hand, that's a tribute to the one my dog destroyed.
