I'm trying to copy the rotation values of one object to another via script and instead of copying the value \"10\" it copies over something like, \"0.0124\". This appears to be a known error with Unity relating to when an object is a child and copying a value to the child, HOWEVER I CANNOT remove the child from the parent since it's the main part of my games gimmick.\n\nThis forum talks about the issue...\n\nhttps:\/\/forum.unity.com\/threads\/duplicating-gameobjects-produces-slightly-different-transform.272908\/\n\nThe forum has a work-around that copies information right from the editor and this allowed by game to work but it's not a solution since you can't access the editors values when you compile a game.\n\nShot in the dark, but if anyone has experienced this or has a solution please let me know.
