Elevander is a mouse-only controlled game! Whilst you can play the game by just using the standard flap, to get the most out of the game players should try to master the controls! There's a lot of nuance to the controls which give players greater control over the the adorable Prairie Chicken!

• Left Click BELOW chicken to DASH. Clicking close vs far changes dash distance.
• Left Click ABOVE chicken to FLAP. Clicking close vs far changes jump direction.
• Combine FLAP and DASH whilst in the air.
• HOLD Left Click after jumping to GLIDE. Cursor position will change speed / direction of glide.

Some people have said the controls are almost a "getting over it" style, where there are restrictions that make it unconventional and challenging! Whilst I don't agree its that harsh, it definitely has a lot of nuance! Let us know if you master it and we appreciate any feedback on our jam entry!
