I have learned a few things that may help you if you are just starting with game jams:\n\n- Sleep well! The more you sleep, the better game you make!\n\n- Don't be stressed too much because of the theme. It's quite likely you won't like it ;) But the theme is not the most important thing. If you lack inspiration, just make a game you'd like to make, and the theme will always somehow blend in. Also, the theme constraint often forces you to make something you wouldn't make otherwise, which is often a good thing!\n\n- And most importantly, have fun!
