Summon thy weapon, Sir Lancelittle!
The gamejam finally came to a close but what a great weekend it was. It is so much fun to see all your games and seeing what creativity there is in this community.
The main win of this gamejam is creating and (sort of) finishing our own game. Sir Lancelittle is a game that my team and myself keep coming back to because we actually like playing the game we made. The progress my team and I were able to make throughout the jam was more steadily than we have expected and we managed to reach our daily goals on all three days. To get a feel of the game see the gifs below (or play it yourself!)

Sir Lancelittle is the type of game we all like playing. There's deckbuilding, action and roguelike elements. Of course we weren't able to completely implement all the features we wanted to add, but our general idea of the game is clearly visible. Things we wanted to add but didn't because of scoping include: * More actual deckbuilding options, like removing cards, upgrading cards * More different feeling weapons and effects * Power cards (i.e. your next attack deals 2x dmg) * Usable items * An actual shop with items to buy * Actual roguelite elements to make every run feel more different * Classes (start with only swords, only magic, mix, different) * (Even) more game juice, particles * Adding EVEN more fun sound effect * More enemies, bosses, etc.
If you want to make Sir Lancelittle summon some weapons, you can find the game at ldjam or on Itch.io
Thanks for all your feedback and support and congrats to anyone who published a game themselves!
