When we were brainstorming the ideas for the game there was a lot of talk about performing rituals.\n\nSummoning is associated with demons, and demons\u2014with freedom from societal norms, freedom of expression, freedom of choice (the good stuff, basically). Unfortunately that\u2019s not something permissible in the eyes of society. And so we came up with an idea of not performing, but stopping a summoning ritual.\n\nThat\u2019s why in [The Summoning of IN-SI-LA](https:\/\/ldjam.com\/events\/ludum-dare\/55\/the-summoning-of-in-si-la) we \ndecided to tell a story of an Inquisitor tasked with purging heretics in a remote town.
