Did I actually put an unskippable cutscene in a jam game?
So, with the theme being "summoning", I set out to do something that really sets a strong atmosphere, puts you in the mood, and explains the concept of the game at the same time…

… But now I have received a few comments, I have to wonder…
Am I really dumb to have built a jam game that starts with a minute-long unskippable "cutscene" before you get to know what it is about? In retrospect, I understand most people want to get quickly into the games since they’ll be testing many… but I really wanted people to see that scene to get into the game!
If you’d like to try it, it is called "Illegal Summonings", is about investigating if pact rules with demons were respected or not, and it is actually really short, despite that cutscene :)
Play it here: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/55/illegal-summonings

I’ll also try to rate back your games as much as possible! :)
