I figured I'd give a little background on my process.\n\nI did most of the songwriting and production on my OP-1. I exported the individual tracks to Ableton for mixing\/mastering, added in a riser and some effects, and put it thru a mastering loop. Very simple but I think good enough for a few hours work. I like the OP-1 because I can get an idea together quickly, it has nice cute sounds that fit the vibe i wanted, and the audio quality fits the lo-fi aesthetic well.\n![2024-10-08 15_53_36-kitty cuddles_  [kitty cuddles] - Ableton Live 11 Suite.png](\/\/\/raw\/260\/b3\/z\/681e1.png)\nHaving nice gear and experience playing instruments for >20 years is a big advantage in an event like this, lol.\n\n\nI've had such a great experience with this October's compo\/jam. I felt like I had the best grasp I've ever had on the theme and my vision, and being (recently) unemployed, I had the time to fully devote to executing my best.
