My first "Full Day" of development: Progress I made so far...
This is my Ludum Dare 57 progress for day 2 so far and tomorrow will be my last day and I hope to finish the game. The theme for the Jam this time is "Depths". Yesterday on day one, I had a low start and ended up almost not working in the game at all, so in practice, this was my first day.

I focused a lot on the presentation for this game because since I'm making it using Cave, which is my game engine, I have a lot of eyes on it in terms of the visual fidelity and what the game engine is capable of delivering. That's why you can see some good menus, a cutscene when you hit play, sound effects and so on. I still need to finish and polish everything and, OF COURSE, the giant fish is placed holder. I will probably replace it with a shark tomorrow. The intro cinematic is also missing Sound Design.
Most of the mechanics are done, now I need to make the actual fish and its AI and the treasure collecting system, which is fairly simple to do. With that done, all that is left to do is level design.
IMPORTANT: It is a physical logical horror game, so there will not be any combat. You will be fleeing from the fishes all the time.
