After Ludum Dare, our\u00a0team decided to do a subsequent game jam to flesh out Galaxia a bit more. \u00a0One huge improvement is the glorious new interface Ben designed:<\/p>\n

Additionally, I submitted\u00a0Galaxia to the Experimental Games Workshop at GDC. \u00a0Who knows if it will be accepted, but Galaxia’s subject of exponential growth and recursive production\u00a0prompted some pretty interesting comments in the feedback section:<\/p>\n

Flyingbear: “The underlying beauty of this game is that it really gives you an appreciation of scale, of just what all those zeros mean.”<\/p>\n

Codeapparat: \u201cI love how it spirals completely out of control once you get those factory-factories\u201d<\/p>\n

MaesK: “Now I understand the bureaucratic nightmare Asimov described in the planet Trantor in Foundation series.”<\/p>\n
