I had fun and I&#8217;m fairly happy with how it turned out. So to the nit and grit of a postmortem post (the good, bad, and confusing?).</p>\n <p>The good:<br />\n -I learned A LOT!<br />\n -the game is well received by most that play it.<br />\n -I actually finished this time, and I like the game I made.<br />\n -the animations and time I put into them paid off<br />\n -I designed the game with mobile in mind and have something I can take to market (maybe)</p>\n <p><a href=\"http://ludumdare.com/compo/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/image24.jpg\"><img src=\"http://ludumdare.com/compo/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/image24-300x187.jpg\" alt=\"image\" width=\"300\" height=\"187\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-427559\" srcset=\"http://ludumdare.com/compo/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/image24-300x187.jpg 300w, http://ludumdare.com/compo/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/image24-550x343.jpg 550w, http://ludumdare.com/compo/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/image24.jpg 960w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" /></a></p>\n <p>The Bad:<br />\n &#8211; I suck at writing music<br />\n &#8211; I thought the core mechanic was simple enough to understand and it wasn&#8217;t<br />\n &#8211; I should have added a tutorial<br />\n &#8211; I had some crash bugs on release<br />\n &#8211; I completely misspelled Fibonacci the entire time I was developing (corrected since)</p>\n <p><a href=\"http://ludumdare.com/compo/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/image25.jpg\"><img src=\"http://ludumdare.com/compo/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/image25-300x187.jpg\" alt=\"image\" width=\"300\" height=\"187\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-427560\" srcset=\"http://ludumdare.com/compo/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/image25-300x187.jpg 300w, http://ludumdare.com/compo/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/image25-550x343.jpg 550w, http://ludumdare.com/compo/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/image25.jpg 800w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" /></a></p>\n <p>The confusing:<br />\n I made a concious effort to have people playtest my game, and was under the impression that the&#8221;adding&#8221; mechanic was simple. While some folks are getting the idea either right away, or shortly there after, most are confused. </p>\n <p>MORAL: Dont assume everyone reads the description on the page, and if it is needed that much then put it inside the game. </p>\n \n <p>Tags: <a href=\"http://ludumdare.com/compo/tag/gamedev-ld31-art-ld48-jam-game/\" rel=\"tag\">#gamedev #ld31 #art #ld48 #jam #game</a>, <a href=\"http://ludumdare.com/compo/tag/andrew-adams/\" rel=\"tag\">Andrew Adams</a>, <a href=\"http://ludumdare.com/compo/tag/cool/\" rel=\"tag\">cool</a>, <a href=\"http://ludumdare.com/compo/tag/fibonacci/\" rel=\"tag\">Fibonacci</a>, <a href=\"http://ludumdare.com/compo/tag/fun/\" rel=\"tag\">fun</a>, <a href=\"http://ludumdare.com/compo/tag/game/\" rel=\"tag\">game</a>, <a href=\"http://ludumdare.com/compo/tag/math/\" rel=\"tag\">math</a>, <a href=\"http://ludumdare.com/compo/tag/postmortem/\" rel=\"tag\">postmortem</a></p>", "time": "December 15th, 2014 11:06 am", "title": "Fibonacci Grid – It’s maths."}
