The final cannonball type is a grapeshot. It shoots really fast, but you can’t get very good jump boosts with it.
You can, however, hover for a bit.

Looks really great overall, but the wooden ground looks too “unpixeled” if you know what I mean by that (a bit too clean for this awesome pixel style, really LOVE it!)
