It&#8217;s the 4th time in a row that I&#8217;m joining and the 6th time overall! It&#8217;s ridiculous how much I love doing the Ludum Dare. Sometimes I wonder why because I don&#8217;t think that I&#8217;m really good at making games in a short time frame but the pressure and motivation to actually make something good in 48h is so strong that I just can&#8217;t live without it. I live for the thrill. LOL, I&#8217;m kidding, in fact it&#8217;s because I get to spend the whole weekend with my friends. In the end it reminds me of the gaming weekends I used to spend with friends when I was a kid.<\/p>\n <p>SO, yes, <a href=\"http:\/\/ludumdare.com\/compo\/author\/glbs\/\">glbs<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/ludumdare.com\/compo\/author\/amour-maternel\/\">Anna<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/ludumdare.com\/compo\/author\/marcellus\/\">Marcellus<\/a> will be there too and we&#8217;ll each be joining the compo.<\/p>\n <p>We&#8217;ll probably be using an additional constraint such as a genre or a technical limitation as well as the theme of course. We feel like we could do better with stronger constraints <img src=\"http:\/\/ludumdare.com\/compo\/wp-includes\/images\/smilies\/simple-smile.png\" alt=\":)\" class=\"wp-smiley\" style=\"height: 1em; max-height: 1em;\" \/><\/p>\n <p>My choice of tools will include:<\/p>\n <ul>\n <li>Unity coupled with MonoDevelop.<\/li>\n <li>A bit of Inkscape, Paint.net, GraphicsGale and Blender depending on the concept.<\/li>\n <li>LMMS for sounds and music.<\/li>\n <li>Licecap for making gifs.<\/li>\n <li>All my code and assets will be hosted on <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/simonchauvin?tab=repositories\">my Github account<\/a>.<\/li>\n <\/ul>\n <p>I wish you all the best of luck and hope we all make very cool games!<\/p>\n <p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n <p>Simon<\/p>","time":"December 5th, 2014 3:44 am","title":"Sixth"}
